St Michaels and Chartfield School have been working on an Intergenerational project for the Westgate Day Event that's happening on Sunday 21st July.

We can see collages of photographs and facts about the history of St Michaels and Chartfield School.

These have been put together by our residents and the children's hands, showing how the generations linked throughout their lives.

“Very good home for my aunt. Everyone is friendly and knows all the resident's names. Lots of activities to keep everyone occupied.
Although slightly more expensive than others, you get so much for your money.”

“My aunty arrived on 29th July for a two-week stay whilst her son is away. I was extremely pleased to see how happy, comfortable and healthy she is looking after just one day. I returned to visit on Sunday 31st July and she is still very happy. It is a relief to know that she is well looked after, she is comfortable and is making friends, she was even taken to church on Sunday morning which pleased her no end. Thank you!”

“My husband is on the nursing floor. We are really impressed by the standard of care provided. I especially like that there are enough carers so that when my husband presses the red button someone comes immediately to help him. The carers are all well trained and friendly - some are exceptional. The nurses are terrific - one spent ages of her own time helping me complete some very lengthy Continual Care assessment forms; she really went above and beyond to help me. All the staff are very flexible and try and make things work so that the resident is happy. The setting is beautiful and the food is very good. My husband especially appreciates the well-stocked bar!”
