We take care to find the best staff with the perfect balance between skills, experience and personality to ensure our residents' lives continue to be engaging and fulfilling. St. Michael's has a dedicated team of over 60 team members, here to provide high-quality residential, nursing and respite care – nothing is ever too much trouble, and we're always available to answer any questions. Here's a handful of our key contacts at St. Michael's:
I am a registered general nurse, with a wide experience in the acute and private sector. For the past 18 years, I have been a nursing home manager, a passionate advocate for the elderly and believe that residents should have the opportunity to continue to live life to the full and pursue their interests. At St. Michael's this ethos is promoted by the development of person centred care planning, developed by our dedicated team. Personally, I enjoy a wide range of interests including quilting, the arts, good food and family.
I have been a registered nurse for 10 years, with experience in both the community and nursing homes, working extensively with the elderly and empowering them as individuals. I have a passion for training, working with the staff, residents and their families, along with student nurses in all aspects of personal development and education.
I am an enthusiastic and motivated Office Manager, with over 15 years' experience in the care sector. I am proud to show people around our beautiful home and offer guidance along with advice to ensure our new residents a smooth introduction to life at St Michael's. Outside the office, I am a keen quilter, enjoy reading and love to travel.
I have been in catering for over 30 years but it's my current position at St. Michael's I find most rewarding. I enjoy the challenge of the diverse needs and preferences that our residents bring to my role. At St. Michael's we focus on the individual and the menus are designed to reflect both their input and choice.
I have worked with people of all ages, both in the UK and abroad. I especially enjoy interacting with our residents, encouraging them to develop and pursue their interests, whilst enabling them to enjoy the facilities here at St. Michael's. Personally, I enjoy reading, arts and crafts and laughing!
I have a degree in nursing and have been working with the residents and their families at St. Michael's since 2005. We are proud of our holistic care approach at St. Michael's, which treats the whole person, not simply symptoms and disease. Prior to this, I spent a number of years' working in the acute sector. In my leisure time, I enjoy cooking.
Because of continued business growth, we are looking for caring, compassionate people to join our unique, charismatic team as we expand to be able to maintain our high quality of care. If you think you have what it takes to be a part of our fantastic team, then we'd love to hear from you. Even if we don't have any positions available at the time, we will keep your details on record for future reference.
